3017 – Chain pulley – heavy applications
This type of bearing (improperly called “chain pulley”) is characterized by an outer ring designed with a specific shape suitable to laterally hold the FLYER pull chains.
It is generally used as a lifting device for the forklift masts.
Typically built as a full complement cylindrical roller bearing it can support heavy radial loads .
The axial loads that arise from the guide of the pull chain are sustained by the correct coupling of the heads of the cylindrical rollers of the bearing with the ground lateral surfaces of the rings.
This type of bearing is, no doubt, a reliable solution even when extreme performances are required.
