This type of bearing is characterized by a center alignment angle that permits the transmission of the load from one raceway to the other. It can, therefore, simultaneously support a radial and an axial load. It is steerable and, for this reason, it does not feel either the effect of a flection of the shaft or any mismatch between the position of the shaft and its cage .
